This piece is reflective of Anasazi dwellings located throughout the southwest United States.

The Anasazi clearly had none of the home comforts we take for granted today except a roof over their head with open air windows and doors.

The light I’ve added to this scene is intended to highlight and add interest to this vista.

I’ve wondered what it would have been like to live with the Anasazi and am satisfied that the unique beauty of this place is overshadowed by the hard earned price of the day-to-day untold hardships necessary just to survive.
