SWATTIN FLIES

I was inspired to paint this vista from a trip to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania a number of years ago. The area is full of large Amish Farms and related scenery.

Horses are very intelligent as evidenced by the two standing nose-to-tail with each other and swatting away the flies and bugs.

Horses also love apples as you will note that there is only one on the ground which would have fallen very recently as it hasn’t been eaten yet.

The farmer on his tractor and the grain silo and sheds in the background all add to the authenticity of this country view.

This product includes archival quality protective varnish, and a dust cover and hanging hardware if framed.

Originals are painted using high quality artist grade acrylic paint on double sided, tempered, masonite (hard board) which is very durable and, unlike canvas, will never stretch or flex and crack the paint.

Purchases are shipped directly to the buyer.
