METATE ARCH

I was inspired to paint Metate Arch by the magnificent and astonishing nature of the arch.

Metate Arch is part of The Devils Garden located within the Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument (GSENM) in south central Utah, United States, which is a protected area featuring hoodoos, natural arches and other sandstone formations.

The area is also known as the Devils Garden Outstanding Natural Area within the National Landscape Conservation System.

I have added unique light and color to the arch as well as an eagle flying overhead intending to emphasize the natural beauty thereof.

This product includes archival quality protective varnish, and a dust cover and hanging hardware if framed.

Originals are painted using high quality artist grade acrylic paint on double sided, tempered, masonite (hard board) which is very durable and, unlike canvas, will never stretch or flex and crack the paint.
