I grew up in the small town of Redmond, Utah where my family raised chickens, geese, rabbits, sheep, and even had a horse.

Roosters are incredibly colorful, gutsy and feisty. Their large spurs can scratch and cut one another and even a person if you are not careful. Watch out for the Rooster or he may “git-ya”.

As a boy, I learned to make many of the farm animal and fowl sounds and can still usually get a rooster to crow at me or a turkey to gobble at me.

I’ve even been attacked by a Rooster before but fortunately didn’t get cut.

The sunflowers, barn, and grain silo in the background add to the authenticity of this country stage.

This product includes archival quality protective varnish, and a dust cover and hanging hardware if framed.

Originals are painted using high quality artist grade acrylic paint on double sided, tempered, masonite (hard board) which is very durable and, unlike canvas, will never stretch or flex and crack the paint.

Purchases are shipped directly to the buyer.
